Servants from our “Conquer Your Fear, Share Your faith,” training enjoy  outreach at Sunset park on july, 14, 2012.

God was so good to provide the harvest, workers and the favorable weather needed for us to be about the Lord’s business!  Rod & Rosie would like to thank Pastor Daniel from Faith Christian Fellowship (FCF), for announcing our outreach to his congregation in an effort to encourage his saints who have gone through the training, to put feet to the message and be obedient servants.

Special thanks to Linda Herring and Roy Ingram from FCF; Alba and Ovidio from Green Valley Baptist (GVBC);  Brian Johannes, Eric Reed, Amber Dionyssiou, & Ministry Leaders, Rod & Rosie Grubb from Hope Church LV, for attending and serving!  What an awesome God we serve!

Special thanks to Alba & Ovidio for translating in Spanish.  Alba and I (Rosie) met an Hispanic family of five.  In getting to know them, we exchanged names and they mentioned that they were Mormons.  Alba translated for me using “Good Person Test.”  They were so humble and thankful that we shared the truth in a way that made sense! They all wanted to pray and give their lives to Jesus.

Please keep this family in prayer:  Mirabelle, Martin and their son Jr., who were interested in attending the Spanish service at GVBC.  Ricardo asked if there was a church in Boulder City and we pointed him to Hope Church in Boulder City.  Elijah stated he lived in Henderson, so he was invited to FCF in Henderson.  We all rejoiced to see how God is so good and how He always provides!  All were given the gospel of John and Million Dollar Bill tracts in Spanish.

I met another man named Maurice, who was fishing at the pond.  I asked if he had a church home that he was currently attending, and he said “no”.  I then let him know that was one of the reasons we were out here is to invite people to church.  He was thankful to receive an invite card to Hope.  I asked him if  he did not mind being asked a hypothetical question.  He said; sure!  I said; “It’s 11 p.m. at night and at 3:00 a.m. the world is going to come to an end.”  We all have to spend eternity somewhere it’s either Heaven or Hell, where do you think you will go?  He said; “Heaven,” I answered and asked; “Are you sure?”  Maurice seemed unsure, and answered; ” I hope so!”  I asked him if he wanted to know for sure, and he said ; “YES!”  I took him through the “Good Person Test” and brought him to the foot of the cross.

He was really thankful to have heard a clear message why we need a savior in the first place, and what he needed to confess to become right with God.  I gave him a gospel of  John, with our e-mail address, and a Million Dollar Bill tract, which he really liked!  Maurice mentioned he would be attending Hope on Sunday.

Rod and Ovidio spoke to the head of the households of two Hispanic families, who would not share their names.  Ovidio translated the “Good Person Test” and took them to the foot of the cross. They gave them both English Million Dollar Bill & Spanish Million Peso gospel tracts along with invite cards to the GVBC Spanish service.

Rod & Ovidio encountered another Hispanic man named Simon who described himself as a Christian Mormon.  Ovidio translated to Simon in Spanish, but could not finish as Simon had to leave.

Rod then spoke to Paula & Ingrid and clearly communicated the good news using the “Good Person Test” and then led them both to the foot of the cross.  Rod gave them a “Jesus” video and the gospel of John along with an invite card to Hope Church.

The team also encountered Tony, who was fishing at the pond, along with his daughter Kayla.  They were very open to listening to the good news!  Kayla the daughter was convicted in her heart and interested in learning more.  Kayla asked a lot of questions, and stated that she would love attending Hope Church to learn about God, but her father had a hard time believing that the Bible was even real.  We continue to pray that God would change his heart and get his daughter to church because she was so interested in learning more about God!  Please keep Kayla & Tony in your prayers!  They were given the gospel of John and Million Dollar Bill tracts.

After we had completed the outreach at Sunset Park, we returned to McDonald’s to fellowship.  Rod  witnessed to Michelangelo, a homeless guy in the McDonald’s parking lot, who seemed incapable of grasping the gospel.  His focus was on other material things and not God.  He was given a McDonald’s gift card and a Million Dollar Bill tract.

The team encountered many more individuals.  Linda spoke to Gladys and Roy after she passed out Million Dollar Bills!  Cassie and Amber spoke to the Alfredo family and they shared the truth of Jesus Christ!

Thanks to all who attended and helped to make this outreach such a blessing!  We cannot wait to see what God has in store for next time!  Please keep these people in your prayers!  Your obedience to God will bless both you and your church, wherever you attend!  Anything missed, please add to the comments below!
