Faith Christian Fellowship Outreach Fremont Street Experience!
We from Hope 4 The City LV, had mentioned earlier, been asked to train “Conquer Your Fear, Share Your Faith,” at Faith Christian Fellowship in Henderson. Pastor Daniel has a godly vision for his church.
God lead Pastor Daniel to Henderson Nevada, from California to take over a church that was not as strong in the word. Since then, God conducted His own cleansing in this church and now what is left, are those with a heart for Jesus Christ and a passion to share their faith with those perishing. Thanks to Pastor Daniel who supports this teaching, as John MacArthur does as well.
It was truly a divine appointment! We were introduced to Pastor Daniel Ozuna, who attended the same seminary as that of John MacArthur, who took the time to get to know us and immediately saw our passion for Christ and learned we had been engaged in the “Great Commission”. Pastor Daniel wants his congregation to be obedient doers of the word. He recognizes that an obedient church abides in Christ, and He in them which blesses the church.
We have been so blessed by our Lord to have met Pastor Daniel and his members. We love him and his passion, and are honored to have had the opportunity to train his congregation on how to share their faith!
We too had to learn how to share our faith and stumbled badly at first! 4 years ago there were some debates at first, then using scriptures which eventually irritated others, until this teaching came along! This method shows you step by step in a non-confrontational way with the scriptures how to share your faith.
Well, Pastor Daniel’s class passed the training and wanted to go out and get a taste of sharing their faith, passing out tracts and experiencing what it’s like to share the faith one on one. It was such a blessing on Fremont Street that Danny, Mike, Connie, and others were placed in our path just for this training! Praise God for those divine appointments on Fremont Street, where Pastor Daniel, Roy, Richard and Sandra were able to see how it’s done first hand, and then applied it themselves by passing out tracts and speaking to others one on one. It was truly exciting for them to experience how very simple it truly is to share in a relaxed environment.
We met at the McDonald’s there and went over what we would be doing, prayed and went out. It was the perfect time and God provided for this training.
Sometimes as Christians we can place ourselves in a box and hide under the bed so we don’t have to go out and open our mouth! It is scary to go around talking to strangers about Jesus Christ! Think about it, it’s not a very popular thing to do in our society these days!
However, as we trust in Jesus daily, He is faithful when we pray and ask Him to provide divine appointments, but we all need to take that first step like learning how to walk, ride a bike, swim or drive a car, it is a process that does take practice, practice, practice!
