This biblical teaching on how to share your faith, it blows any other method away! Most Christians stumble with their way. They try to share a form of the gospel, but many today are in absolute fear of sharing their faith at all thus being in disobedience to God!
We live in this lawless society today and it gets more difficult to loose that fear of sharing your faith. We are so thankful for this teaching, and that our Pastors, as well as many others, see the value of this teaching and want this taught in their church.
Imagine you have a son, daughter or any member of your family who walks on death row daily, and many family members are pondering when a good time would be to open up and share the truth of Jesus Christ. We are guilty of the same thing, it’s not been very easy for us as well, at least until this particular teaching, came into our lives over 4 years ago and inspired by Mark Cahill who wrote the book, “One Thing You Can’t Do In Heaven.”
With our “Modern,” secular world they preach tolerance with anything except Jesus Christ. We all must be politically correct! Not according to the Bible.
Everything is black or white! No grey areas, no overlooking anything against God or that is evil.. We must be ready in season and out of season.
Romans 12:1-9 (NASB)
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. [2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. [3] For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. [4] For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, [5] so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. [6] Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; [7] if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; [8] or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. [9] Let love be without hypocrisy Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.
Most people in the world do not know they have a sinful nature. We have an abundance of Psychologists who won’t even entertain that a person is sinful, that’s why they can’t cope and make bad decisions daily it is their sinful condition. Again, it’s not what the Bible said.
Romans 7:7 (NASB)
What shall we say then? Is the Law sin? May it never be! On the contrary, I would not have come to know sin except through the Law; for I would not have known about coveting if the Law had not said, “YOU SHALL NOT COVET.”
Last but not least, we are called to examine ourselves, test all things and test it against the scriptures! Dating is not listed in the scriptures as an example yet it’s the secular way. I’m sure God designed it that way so there would not be any temptation leading into sin. For the wages of sin is death! Forever separated from God.
2 Corinthians 13:5-6 (NASB)
Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you–unless indeed you fail the test? [6] But I trust that you will realize that we ourselves do not fail the test.
James 5:19-20 (NASB)
My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, [20] let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
We highly recommend that you examine this teaching by Ray Comfort, at least you can apply it to what you’ve learned, and if you don’t have a way here is one just waiting for you! WayOfTheMaster.com
Matthew 28:18-20 (NASB)
And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. [19] “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, [20] teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
God Bless You!
