Hi Everyone!
We are so blessed for our team to have spent a wonderful week Evangelizing! Last Sunday we were at Boulder City’s Spring Jamboree. Wednesday at UNLV handing out 180movie.com cards to faculty & students. The 180Movie.com is about abortion and those who may have a pro-choice view will do a 180 after they watch the movie. Thursday and Sunday we spent our time with great guys from the LV Outreach Team from First Baptist Church. Special Thank You to Doug Koch who is in charge of this Ministry, Drew, Chris, Tom (ironman), Robert, Gene, Jeremy Dollar and everyone else who was there. Rod, Rosie & Amber were blessed to get in on sharing our faith with others. The weather was very warm, however God blessed us with a side that maintained shade! We all took people through “Intelligent Tests” as you will see in the photos hanging up on the tent. This method is all part of taking them thru the God’s 10 Commandments..
We also shared the Good Person Test to Ken & Jessica who are not married and live together with 2 young children. The Holy Spirit was working in that man, and he did say they were going to get married in a week or so, and make things right with God, to be great examples to their children. We gave them the book of John, and some videos to watch. We need to keep them in prayer!
Maria & John you will see their photo a couple of times, she understood good person test but, John just said it was very hard for him to believe the Bible, they both received tracts and a video.
Two Ladies I spoke with, Kristie on the left and Kaylyn. I took them through the “Good Person Test”, and at the end of it they answered honestly knowing they did not follow God’s commands and said this conversation needs to end. They did not believe in Heaven or Hell but only believed in “Creation” and worshiped it, but did not believe in a Creator or God! That was a first for me! When you meet people and then scriptures stand out as a result of their lifestyle it’s mind boggling! God said this would happen and here is the scripture: (Romans 1:22-25 22) Professing to be wise, they became fools,
23) and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
24) Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.
25) For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.) They just walked away and it was sad to see them reject a Holy God for God’s creation.
Rod spoke to Daniel, 22 and stumped him with an eternal question he did not have an answer for. Daniel took a liking to Rod as he could relate to him more as a father figure. He wanted Rod’s number and realized he truly needed to get right with God. We loaded him up with the book of John, video’s scriptures and also handed out Hope Cards to those seeking a church home. We shall see if there is any further contact we do expect to hear from him.
I took Kevin through an Intelligent Test, which lead into the “Good Person Test”. Kevin said he was raised in a church and his father was a Pastor, well Kevin is now an Atheist. I let him know that God did not believe in Atheist, and that everyone on earth will face judgement & give an account one day. He said he just choose not to believe, and was obviously fed some strange doctrine throughout his life, and I let him know it was not about a religion but only a personal relationship with Jesus. He seemed to be stuck on all religions out there….Rod ended up finishing with Kevin as he is a recovering Atheist himself and could relate to Kevin. In the end we gave him video’s and a book of John to read which he said he would view the items we gave him, and we gave everyone that listened a “Thanks 4 Listening Card”, with our email on the back.
Bobbie & Angie came by and accepted million dollar bills and I took them through the “Good Person Test”, which is on our site if you look. They were all ears listening to every word I had said, they realized that they were not good and needed to go further and get off the fence to surrender wholeheartedly to Jesus! They were dead wood in the church trying to do it on their own. They were very thankful for the way I presented it to them using the Ten Commandments of the Good Person Test. Bobbie said it truly made a difference by taking them to the Garden of Eden letting them know it was only a personal relationship with God like Adam & Eve had before they sinned against Him. They were very thankful and grateful for the Word! Praise God!
Rod made instant friends with a Muslim from Senegal Africa who lives in L.A. now. You will see the picture and his name is Mambaye who is also in a picture with a Jewish guy from Israel named Sammy. Love was spread among our group! Christian’s, loving on them sharing the love of Jesus! We heard that Chris ended up giving Mambaye a book called; “Glad News God Loves You My Muslim Friend” by Samy Tanagho, who speaks at several Calvary Chapel’s. Samy is married to a former Muslim and God blessed this book a wonderful story of love. Rod exchanged phone numbers with Mambaye so we shall see what door God will open. Please continue to help us pray for the lost, as God is awesome and hears our prayers!
I had the opportunity to share the Good News with two young Muslim children but their Mother came and snatched them away after I was just getting to the Good News about Jesus. These kids were planted with a loving seed that only God will cultivate and allow it to grow! Praise God!
As we were just about to leave I walked across to the Democratic Booth and handed a guy a million dollar tract, and he asked me what it was for. I asked him if he had time for me to share, he said yes! His name is Hector and he was into Politics. I brought Hector over and took him through the “Good Person Test”, 4 of the ten commandments and he recognized that he needed a Savior and wanted to get right with Him. Hector told me he just moved to Vegas and was waiting for his car to be shipped from St Louis. He received a Hope Card and our contact information so we could help him with his walk. I let him know it was critical to surrender before leaving the parking lot just in case he were to get hit by a drunk driver. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict these hearts and they will all surrender to Jesus! Yay Jesus!
I’m sure there are many other stories that will have to be updated, at a later time, but we were so blessed to be there on Mothers Day and that was the best Mothers Day for me! Sharing Jesus with others is so awesome! Remember the Great Commission!
