Hi Everyone!

It’s been a great couple of weeks participating in God’s work!  What a blessing!  I wish you all were here to see how God is moving in the lives of these people!  Priceless!  I would like to thank our devoted Servants:  Cassie Fletcher, Eric Read, Brian Johannes, Sandra Escobar, & Noemia Pinheiro for getting in on God’s work!  You all are such a blessing to us and we love you all dearly!  Thank You!

Rosie & Sandra came upon a young lady named Denise Nunn.  I asked her if she had a church home that she currently attends, she said no.  I felt led to take her through the “Good Person Test”, as Sandra prayed.  She was so humbled to see she was not a good person, and when I told her that God had placed her in my path for a reason, she began to cry.  I asked her if she wanted to surrender her life to Christ, and she said yes!  I informed her she needed to pour out her own heart to God, just cry out and say what’s on your heart to Jesus, and Sandra & I will pray with you.  She gave the most sincere prayer asking forgiveness, and just pouring out her heart to Jesus in a mighty way!  It was such a blessing to be part of it!  Sandra and I both shared what she should start doing to develop that personal relationship with Jesus.   Sandra and I spent quite a bit of time with her so she fully could understand how to walk with Jesus and to read the book of John.  We exchanged phone numbers, and she said she will be watching Pastor Vance online when she can, as it is way out of her way to attend Hope.

Rod witnessed to Jose while Brian recorded it on video!  Great Job on the video Brian!  Jose was convicted and it worried him enough that he did want to surrender to Christ,  Unfortunately, the video was too long to post.  We will edit the video for You Tube and hopefully add it to this post at a later date.  Rod, Brian, & Eric encountered Ken, a Christian, who was handed a tract, and he realized he needed prayer, so Rod, Brian and Eric prayed for him at the park, Ken mentioned to them he had been going through some medical & material struggles and needed prayer.  Keep all these people in prayer if you can please!

Cassie and Noemia were walking around the trail paths at Sunset Park and encountered one unnamed man, Chris, Shawn, Karen, Cody, and Charles.  They passed out several invite cards to Hope Church and gospel tracts, as well.

Brian, Eric and Rod continued to pass out Hope Church invite cards, million dollar bills, and million peso’s that are gospel tracts.

Sandra & Rosie teamed up to witness to a Hispanic family.  Maria & her husband did not speak English, their daughter Fave’ and about 5 grandchildren.  I had asked Sandra to translate as I took them through the “Good Person Test”.  Most Hispanic’s, like myself, are raised Catholic, and adhere to the religious do’s and don’ts and always made to feel guilty.  Sandra did a beautiful job translating and these folks were able to understand it the way it was presented.  We showed them the mirror of the 10 Commandments, that we are not good.  People are generally too scared to say anything to those who are perishing or give them the truth.  Well, the “Good Person Test”, keeps them on track and they must answer based on God’s Higher Standard, not our own.  So, praise God they understood that they needed a Savior, and what He did for them and the world.  They were told it was Not about a religion but it was about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Sandra led them to pray and accept Jesus, and I helped their daughter Fave’ who wanted a personal relationship with Jesus, as well.  We gave Fave’ and her children, who spoke English, 5 Bibles and recommended that they begin to read the book of John first.  They were very happy that we came along to share the “Good News” and she said she will be coming to Hope because her kids need the guidance.   Please continue to pray for all we were blessed to encounter at the park!

As we close, it is so important to know that we don’t know when time is up including all who may be our own family members who don’t care to know anything about Jesus Christ.  Those people who may have rejected Jesus and have just left to their job, home or bar, are gambling with their own Soul, that is worth more than anything in this world.  We warn people to please do not leave the parking lot before you surrender your life to Jesus wholeheartedly, because if a drunken driver were to hit you and you are killed, you could immediately be in Hell suffering forever and ever burning in the flames and smell of sulfur, left with just your thoughts reminded of all the people who shared Jesus Christ with you and you never believed.  It may not be politically correct, but this paints a very clear picture of the seriousness and what may happen when they die if they reject Jesus!

Let’s all be mindful of the Lost, please keep all you may know who are lost in prayer, and we will Trust in Jesus for deliverance!  God Bless!

Finally have the time to post about our Boulder City Outreach!  Rosie, Rod & Amber went out to Boulder City’s Jamboree on Sunday May 6, 2012.  It was very nice out there and the people were very friendly and approachable.  Quite different compared to “First Friday”, Downtown Las Vegas.   You will see a picture of Rosie witnessing to Daniel, and realized that he did need a personal relationship with Jesus, which he admitted he did not have.  He attends Central Christian. I (Rosie) snapped a group picture of Rod, Amber, Jim (Grandpa), Toni (Grand daughter) & Sean.  Jim happened to sit down with us and shared how lonely he was after his wife died and went to be with the Lord.  Jim needed encouragement and came to the right table as we loved on Jim!  Then his grand daughter and her friend joined us.  It ended as another Divine appointment from God.  Yay Jesus!

Here is another story, Amber and I (Rosie) were handing out Million dollar tracts to the booth owners, and one Man approached me and asked what it was about.  That gave me the perfect opening to take him through the “Good Person Test”, that we use.  It’s a C.A.T. Scan of your spiritual condition before you leave this earth measured by “God’s Higher Standard”, not the “World’s Standard”.  You can see this test at needGod.com which is on our website here as well.  Anyway, David was very willing to take the test and he realized that he had a sinful condition, and needed a savior.  He truly thanked me for explaining it so he could understand that we were born this way, and that’s why Jesus died to save us freely if we accept him.  David said his wife who attends Canyon Ridge Church, had been praying for him daily!

Rod ended up talking to Craig and took him through the test, but Craig thought he was already good to go, and thanked Rod for what he was doing.  We pray that all these Divine appointments come to Christ!

We then drove around Hope Church Boulder City, and added a couple of pictures.  It’s very nice!  Overall we had a great time looking at antiques as we witnessed to those God placed in our path, passing out invitations to the Hope Church Boulder City, and also to Hope Church LV if they lived near the area, and tracts.  It was a blessing!
