Hello Team! Wow it was such a blessed day today! God was so good to provide great weather and new people to come out and help share the gospel, as well as the people who needed to hear it! We had the youngest addition to our team who just loved handing out Million Dollar Tracts! Great Job Scotty!
Thank You Noemia, Sandra, Ryland & Son Scotty (3rd grader) and Brian for being great servants of the Lord serving in the “Great Commission.” We invited everyone to service and the Fiesta at Hope on Sunday!
Several people were open to hear why they needed a savior, like David, Gabriel, Mike, Michelle, Jarrett. We came across a female and a male trying to interpret the Bible on their own, never attending a church out of non trust for one, and telling us we were Israeli and NOT descendants of Adam & Eve among other nonsense, and very legalistic! We could not believe our ears!
It was the strangest encounter we ever witnessed. I got them to listen to the 10 commandments as a mirror before them and to understand why we all need a savior, and they seemed to insist we should be divided in the world. I asked them to read John 3:16, but the man refused to believe that Jesus made that offer to the entire world. The man referred me to John 17:9 of the King James Version taking that scripture out of context, and believing God does not pray for people in the world. I explained to them not to take scripture out of context, and God does not want us to be wise in our own understanding. We invited them to Hope to hear the truth of the Bible. The woman was grateful for the invitation and I pray that they will seek salvation, and God’s direction for their lives, but we had to dust ourselves off and leave!
Overall, it was a blessed and beautiful day at Sunset Park! there were definitely people placed in our path for a reason! Brian, Noemia and Sandra was able to join us afterwards for fellowship, prayers and sharing our salvation stories! What a treat that was as we learned; Sandra, Raul, Rod & Rosie had waited on the Lord for Jesus to pick their perfect partner for marriage! Yay Jesus!
Please continue to pray for our outreach, and for the Lord to use us mightily throughout our community!
God is so good, while we performed our first prayer walk before Hope was opened, our group met Sandra and her Husband Raul. She had been praying for a church in her neighborhood and Hope Church is now open! Sandra is now a member of our outreach team! God is so Good all the time! If you are interested in coming out to the Las Vegas Outlet Mall, we have an outreach there every Wednesday from 1-3:30! That has been a blessing and please keep Dean, Sharon, Rosie, Claudia, Carla, and Christy for salvation.
Pastor Fox from Utah stated in one of his sermons at Hope in January, that there are 3 kinds of believers:
- Radical goers that go out to proclaim the Word.
- Radical Senders who send people to proclaim His Word.
- And the disobedient!
May God fill you all with the Spirit and the heart to learn and to share God’s word wherever you go and be blessed! 150,000 die everyday, and close to 98-99% do not make it to Heaven! Yikes!
